Konig's
work on the legit stage culminated in his triumphant turn on Broadway as Vince
Fontaine in the Tommy Tune revival of "Grease!". "Starring on Broadway as
Vince Fontaine was a big thrill," Konig recalls. "I was stepping into some
pretty big shoes, filling a role that had been portrayed by such Broadway
legends as Joe Piscopo and Mickey Dolenz!"
