WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

In Sunday’s “Where Are They Now?” column, Rue McClanahan was described as “ a west coast serial killer obsessed with astrology”.  We regret the inadvertent inference that might have been led some readers to believe Ms. McClanahan was the Zodiac Killer. Ms. McClanahan was a cast member of the popular television show Golden Girls, as well as the spokeswoman for 2000 Flushes.

MIDDLE EAST

In a recent editorial on the ongoing crisis in the middle east, we mistakenly identified Carol Channing as “a small invertebrate animal with a soft, unsegmented body enclosed in a calcareous shell”. We have since been advised that the mollusk is a small invertebrate animal with a soft, unsegmented body enclosed in a calcareous shell. Carol Channing is the legendary entertainer, best known for her portrayal of Dolly Levi in the original Broadway production of Hello Dolly. However, we stand by our original statement.

RUSSIA

For the past several weeks we have referred numerous times to the Russian Republic as a “small island resort somewhere in the Carribbean”. It has been brought to our attention that Russia is, in fact, an extremely large nation in Europe. We stand corrected.

Dave Konig a 3 time Emmy winning comedian and the author of the novel

Good Luck, Mr. Gorsky.

"Dave Konig is a great comedian and this is a great novel. It will really take you back to grimy, dirty pre-Giuliani New York. I love it because I love reading about New York City in the '80's." - Mark Simone, WOR Radio
